I know exactly what you mean about studies skewing the information to serve their purposes. One huge example I always refer to is a lot of the information about the &#039;health benefits&#039; of soy products. I&#039;m sure ADM doesn&#039;t fund this stuff, right? haha...</description>

This is correlation (coincidence), but not cause. 

The problem with most &quot;science&quot; and &quot;studies&quot; in health, especially weight loss is that it&#039;s mostly marketing. It&#039;s easy to find a correlation and then paste a favourite idea about why... but it&#039;s not science. It makes it hard to discern truth from fiction; quite a disservice to the reset of us. :( 

However, that doesn&#039;t mean that it&#039;s not &lt;i&gt;interesting&lt;/i&gt;.
